Had a great time with friends! We explored the Barnes County Historical Society and enjoyed the scenic trails nearby. The location is convenient and has awesome amenities like pet-free and smoke-free rooms. Our room was super comfy with a nice view. Highly recommend for a fun group getaway!

The only downside was that the attached restaurant was packed during our stay, so we had to eat out instead.

While the swimming area is enjoyable, it could use a refresh to enhance the overall experience—some minor upgrades here would do wonders. Once, despite confirming a suite with three beds, I ended up in a cramped room with just two beds, needing cots for the night. This misstep created some hassle and disappointment, but everything else largely made up for it.

Excellent lodge, excellent breakfast. I was impressed with the spacious room with two queen beds and enjoyed the hot continental breakfast which was the best I've ever had, thanks to the attentive staff ensuring everything was well-stocked.
